Why join band? (For kids) – BAND IS FUN!!! Band class is the most unique class you will ever take! After Kindergarten there are few, if any, classes you will take where you learn something completely new. You will learn all kinds of new and fun things in Band that will not come from any other class. You will also learn a great deal of teamwork and responsibility. Band students are usually some of the brightest and most successful students in the school! BEST OF ALL – if you try your best you will absolutely do very well and have fun doing it!

Why join band? (For parents) – In addition to the amount of fun your child will have learning a new skill which will also help teach them responsibility, self motivation, and self discipline, there is a large amount of research from all over the United States which confirms the positive effects of participation in Band (and other arts organizations).
